Everyone is fat, oh noes.

38 pounds down since 2010.
If you've been under a rock, your fat rolls are likely giving your location away, plus you haven't heard that folks in the United States are fat and getting fatter. We are inundated by studies that tell us certain things are bad but then other studies say the opposite -- we're told that sitting is killing us, that we don't get enough exercise -- and above all things, don't you dare smoke.

Regardless of the insanity of some of the statistics swirling around our billowing belly fat, for someone who loves to read as much as I can find and try to make some sense of it all, managing my incoming health news has been just as important as getting my actual health under control. Surely I can't be alone in the need to have a curated source of information specific to my interests.

At the same time, something clicked for me in late 2010 and I decided to make my health a priority in my life. I won't count the first decade since my parents were in charge then, but everything after has been pretty much ignorance. More on that later in the Story Time section, I promise.

Under Control is my documentation of how I'm turning things around along with food/diet/product reviews, control tips, and interesting bits from the news.
